Dr. Adrianna Ortega, PT, DPT

Education
Dr. Adrianna Ortega received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in 2019 after completing an accelerated program. She served as one of her class’s representatives for the Marquette Challenge, raising over $25,000 for physical therapy research to continue to move the PT field forward and promote movement as medicine.
Prior to Force Physical Therapy
Prior to Force Physical Therapy, Dr. Ortega gained valuable experience at the Memorial Rehabilitation Institute in Hollywood, FL where she worked with patients with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions, including joint replacements, amputations, and strokes. Dr. Ortega also worked at Pilates in the Grove in Coconut Grove, FL as a Pilates instructor and physical therapist where she taught private and group Pilates classes to a variety of clients of all ages and athletic abilities.
Areas of Interest
Dr. Ortega has pursued continuing education through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute in order to practice Pelvic Floor and Women’s Health Physical Therapy. She has a passion for helping women before they get pregnant, during pregnancy, and postpartum in order to feel their best. Dr. Ortega is skilled in treating issues such as incontinence, sexual dysfunction, dyspareunia, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, and constipation. She is also a private Pilates instructor, and utilizes the principles of control, precision, and breath in her physical therapy practice. Dr. Ortega believes these are the keys to healing and unlocking your movement potential.
Athletic Experience
Dr. Ortega grew up competing in a variety of styles of dance and cheerleading for 13 years. Her interest in these sports led her to Pilates, where she ultimately pursued becoming an instructor.
