Dr. Kevin Castillo, PT, DPT, CSCS, CIDN

Education:

Originally from southern California, Dr. Castillo graduated from California State University – Fullerton, where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Cellular & Developmental Biology. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he graduated with Honors. He obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification to gain further knowledge in the rehabilitation and return-to-sport for athletes of all levels and abilities.

Prior to Force Physical Therapy:

During his education, Dr. Castillo gained experience in clinical rotations through a variety of settings: Outpatient Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Pediatrics, Oncology, and Acute Care: Cardiovascular, Neurosurgical and Pediatric ICUs. In 2018, he served in a medical outreach trip to Puerto Rico, where he volunteered physical therapy services to local communities affected by Hurricane Maria.

Athletic Experience:

Dr. Castillo is an avid lover of all sports. He played basketball through high school and grew up in the ocean and mountains, surfing and snowboarding.
