Dr. Jorge Serrano, PT, DPT 

Education

Dr. Serrano is a 2019 graduate of Florida State University where he earned his B.S. in Exercise Physiology in the College of Health and Human Sciences. He later received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2024 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in St. Augustine, Florida, where he graduated with high honors.

Prior to Force Physical Therapy

Prior to Force Physical Therapy, Dr. Serrano gained valuable experience working as a physical therapy technician at Health and Wellness Center- Physical Therapy Department in Tallahassee, FL. Additionally, he was a therapy technician at Encompass Health in Sunrise, Florida where he had the opportunity to aid in the treatment with a variety of patients with traumatic brain injuries, strokes, cancer, post-op, etc.

Areas of Interest

Dr. Serrano enjoys learning about many aspects of the athletic continuum from rehabilitative protocols, biomechanics, and performance.

Athletic Experience

Dr. Serrano ran cross country and track in high school specializing in the 5K, 1600m, and 800m. After high school, he ventured into powerlifting and MMA including boxing, kickboxing and jiu-jitsu.
