Dr. Philip Laurence, PT, DPT, CSCS, TSAC

Education

Dr. Laurence is a 2019 graduate of Life University where he earned his Bachelor Science Degree in Exercise Science. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2023. Dr. Laurence has also been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Tactical Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning association since 2020.

Prior to Force

Before working at Force Physical Therapy, Dr. Laurence worked with various populations as an outpatient physical therapy technician, and inpatient/acute physical therapy technician for two years. Additionally, he was also a 14U head coach for Atlanta Youth Rugby, and served as a back’s coach/head coach for the 18U Boca Raton Rugby team.

Areas of Interest

Dr. Laurence has a passion for athletics and enjoys learning about anything that deals with improving athletic performance. In 2023, he was published in the biologic and orthopedic journal for “Blood Flow Restriction Training: Potential Adjunct to Orthobiologic procedures”, and is currently an article reviewer for the Strength and Conditioning Journal.

Athletic Experience

Dr. Laurence played Rugby at Life University. Additionally, he played rugby, football, wrestled, gaelic football, cross country, and track when he was in high school.
